Many of us don’t know much about the film industry, we enjoy watching movies and other film related productions, Professor Evans a former Film Producer and current professor at Westchester Community College, has had a long journey in the film industry. She knows the ins and outs of what it takes to produce and teach about film.

The film industry is not like any other industry it is a difficult field get become successful in. This article from euro news speaks on the recently self exiled Catalan president Carles Puigdemont requesting amnesty from the Spanish government.  This cry for amnesty comes almost six years after Catalonia tried to declare its independence from Spain. Puigdemont still says that the events of October 1 were nit criminal.  Puigdemont saying if he is granted amnesty and allowed to return to Spain he will be more inclined to talk to the members of his party and back the Current Socialist party in power in Spain.

Recent Spanish elections were inconclusive and left both the left and the right in Spain depending of Puigdemont party for support ignorer to form a coalition government.  This needing for support from Puigdemont is left more on the left than the right. Ever since 2018 the leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers Party, Pedro Sanchez had depended on the backing of Puigdemont’s party to govern and secure enough votes. This has put Charles at an advantage point as he is needed by certain Spanish parties for votes.

The leader of the Spanish Conservative People’s Party Alberto Núñez Feijóo would not negotiate and support amnesty. This was said based on Puigdemont’s current conditions for that Amnesty.  Feijoo said in quotes “If they are going to ask for amnesty as a condition for me to be made prime minister, we can spare the meeting,” Feijóo said in a statement.” This being the case we can see the one of the only conditions he would allow for amnesty is one that would help put the conservative leader in power as prime minister.

This could change the politics of the Iberian Peninsula and impact the European parliament as a whole.
